A Worldwide Church Family
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Protestant movement that began in the mid 1800s and grew out of Millerism during the Second Great Awakening. The pillars upon which this movement are based are as follows:
- Christ will come a second time
- The Righteousness of Christ is a gift of grace by faith to His believers and faithful followers
- The Seventh-Day is the Sabbath
- God’s Word is Inspired and the bedrock of instruction & inspiration
- There is a Heavenly Sanctuary and Christ, our High Priest, is actively interceding on behalf of His people at this time
- The First Death is a sleep and the Second Death permanently eradicates all wickedness and the wicked who have rejected Christ’s Sacrifice
- The Three Angels Messages of Revelation 14 are the last invitation of God to the undecided to claim His mercy and experience His love
